COCKTAIL OF THE WEEK
Hidden Gesture
Legent Bourbon, Tamarind, Pineapple, Pandan, Ginger Bitters, Coconut Foam
This cocktail tells the story of the diversity of Oakland. Oakland is a melting pot of different cultures and backgrounds from all over the world. Many of whom are first generation immigrants from Southeast Asia. We wanted to bring the history of Southeast Asian culture to light through this cocktail. Using traditional Southeast Asian ingredients such as tamarind and pandan, we created this unique flavor that brought back many memories from their home country, which many fled decades ago during the deadly War to Oakland, California.
